Manos was an extremely supportive host. He picked me up from the airport after a night flight and dropped me back when I left. He text to ensure everthing was ok and was very helpful. One night he even took me to a fun bar/ restaurant with magnificent views over Athens and the Acropolis. The apartment is very large and liveable. I was there for 2 x weeks and everything was wonderful. A short Uber from the sites of Athens. I highly recommend this apartment.

I also want to point out that Manos left us a lot of water in the fridge, as well as a delicious artisanal wine from Esparta!

You can easily reach the Acropolis by taking the direct metro, or by taxi for 4€. On the last day, Manos took me on a tour of Athens on his scooter, and we strolled around and took photos.

  Stayed a week while attending a workshop nearby. The area turned out to be peaceful, non-touristy, with plenty of independent bakeries, grocery stores, cafes, and restaurants nearby. A sprinkling of... read more museums and the olympic stadium are nearby, and the Acropolis is a 20 minute walk away (metro and bus also an option).

Manos kindly met me at the metro station arriving from the airport, helped me with my luggage, and orientated me to the neighbourhood. Hosts Manos and Lia live next door, and readily popped round when I had a question about the wifi. They were friendly but non-intrusive.

Everything in the flat is as described in the listing, with a retro charm. I arrived to unseasonably cold weather but the flat was toasty and warm thanks to the aircon heater. Solar-heated water is on demand, but make sure you understand how to use the black button to boost the hot water if needed on a cloudy day.
Enjoyed my stay and will return!
